These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Echoes of the Queen (the "Game") and this website (the "Site"), both operated by Curious Inventions LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or playing the Game, or by using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game or Site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or play the Game. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Game with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Accounts

Some features may require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use cheats, exploits, automation software (bots), or unauthorized third-party tools;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Game's servers or networks;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Game, Site, or other accounts;
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other players or our staff;
  • Use the Game or Site for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion.

4. Virtual Items & Purchases

The Game may offer virtual items, currency, or content for purchase or earned through gameplay. Virtual items have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are licensed to you, not sold — we retain ownership of all virtual items. All purchases are final except as required by applicable law.

5. Advertising

The Game and Site may display advertising, including from third-party ad networks. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or the practices of advertisers.

6. Intellectual Property

The Game, Site, and all related content — including artwork, code, text, and the Echoes of the Queen name and logo — are owned by Curious Inventions LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and play the Game for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer any part of the Game or Site except as permitted by law.

7. Third-Party Links

Our Site and Game may link to third-party sites and services, such as our Discord community server. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party sites or services.

8. Disclaimers

The Game and Site are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Curious Inventions LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Game or Site.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Game or Site at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Game or Site at any time.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Game or Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local law requires otherwise.
